It got pretty cold during the night, so we stayed inside watching the sun come up from inside the Mog.
We enjoyed our morning coffee and let the sun warm us up.
Eventually it warmed up and I went out for a walk and took more pictures. The great empty spaces are beautiful.
We didn’t have much that we needed to do today besides get more fresh water and firewood. So we drove back to Borrego Springs.
But first we had to stop and visit the Dragon.
And we stopped and got more firewood and nearly filled the rear wood rack.
We had a new destination for tonight’s campsite, but there was also a hike we wanted to take.
After the hike, it was only a mile or so to our spot for the night.
Yes, this view will do nicely.
Eventually, the sun began to set, and we had another nice sunset.
We took a short walk to enjoy the view more.
But soon the sun went down, and we kept warm by the campfire.
The number of stars in the sky is amazing…
